Wolfgang Tay Weber has negotiated from war rooms to courtrooms to boardrooms. Wolfgang is a professional negotiations consultant and educator acclaimed for his fun, engaging, and sometimes unorthodox teaching style. He strives to enhance all forms of business deals and interactions through genuine human connection.
As a professor, Wolfgang taught law and negotiations at the U.S. Judge Advocate General's (JAG) School and U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA), where he functioned as the Director for the university's 10-course Leadership & Negotiation Program.
Before teaching, Wolfgang honorably served 14 years in the U.S. Air Force as an Intelligence Officer, overseeing 200+ personnel in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Kyrgyzstan. While abroad, he negotiated deals with foreign agencies in high-pressure, cross-cultural environments where miscommunication wasn’t just awkward … it was dangerous.
He additionally practiced law for several years as a serious-crimes federal prosecutor, where high-stakes negotiations with attorneys required a careful balance of conviction and compassion.
Wolfgang has been recognized for his contributions in the areas of education, leadership, and litigation; most notably being distinguished as the USAFA Outstanding Academy Educator, #1 Officer in Military Squadron Leadership School, and the Top U.S. Federal Trial Lawyer in the Pacific Region. He also graduated at the top of his class at UC Berkeley School of Law.
He continues to attest, however, that no accomplishment is greater than caring for his Singaporean mother, who single-handedly raised him from an early age.
